7. Questions / answers
7.1 Why do you achieve those translations ?
- This is the best way I found to support the most interesting
opensource projects.
- If numerous projects I want to support are achieved by Solar
Designer, this is not a chance: he makes an absolutely fantastic work
and regularly enable me to learn enormously things.
I particularly want to thank him for all that.
- Solar Designer isn't the only one to make such a good work, there's
Dug Song, Renaud Deraison and so many others too that I won't list
all of them but I want to thank them too...
7.2 Why do you translate manuals of crackers tools...
- Those tools are what they are used to. They are cracker tools only if
they are used in evil purposes.
- I think that those tools such as dsniff are wonderful educating tools
: to show, per example, that it's simple to capture clear text
passwords and hijacking ssh and https connections is far more
efficient than theorically evoke those problems.
- Those tools hold a lot of knowledge that any administrator (network or
system) and any security responsible should know... whereas all crackers
master that yet since a long time...
